Embarking on our long-awaited honeymoon aboard the Ovation of the Seas, we seized the opportunity to promote our Innovation for ASD initiative. We strategically placed 40 uniquely designed, 3D-printed coasters with a QR code on the back throughout the vessel, inviting guests to engage in a delightful scavenger hunt. These coasters were tucked away in various locations, from the grandeur of the Royal Theatre to the excitement of the Casino, across multiple decks and levels.
The response was heartwarming. Enthusiastic passengers shared their discoveries on the cruise’s Facebook group, leading to a noticeable uptick in traffic to our website after the voyage—a testament to the effectiveness of this cost-efficient marketing strategy. Among the finders was a remarkable 7-year-old boy with ASD, whose joy upon finding a coaster was truly inspiring. Kudos to him!
