Great catchup recently, with two teenage boys, both having self-taught Blender and related software. Both have learned through exploring, funny thing was, each had used it for two different purposes. One was importing and editing 3D models, then exporting to slice and 3D print. The other for making models from scratch to use in a video game project he is working on for fun.
They both gave time for each other, albiet, us adults supporting their engagement, reminding each of time for others to talk. Was great to be involved in watching two creative minds explore a number of technical subjects in one session. Such knowledge and passion at a young age is exciting. One of them even shared a song he made using an online generative Ai program, which is a program I'm going to explore!
