Innovation for ASD at the Willows Rotary Markets - Wilson Basket Ball

Check out our digs at the Willows Rotary Markets last weekend. We had some great engagement both on the topic of additive manufacturing (3D printing) and the products we had on offer. The mini Wilson basketball 3D print was a hit with a lot of market goers blown away that you can print this and the shoes we also had on show. Mind you the type of material used to print the ball was a surprise to a lot that it didn't bounce that well (TPU 85A shore hardness), which was a great STEM topic of conversation around material elasticity. We raised some further funds from sales and some donations and will be looking to put this into improving the marketing and communications of the program.
